Arrowhead Update

June 12, 2019

Hello – We are heading down the homestretch with the Arrowhead project.

This week, crews began working on the floor finish. Below are pictures of the process, and progress!

Step 1: Grind existing floor to create even surfaces and prep for material.
Entire floor sanded.
Step 2: Floor is cleaned and primer coat applied.
Step 3: Epoxy finish installed.

An application of a sealer will be the final step. The finish takes up to 48 hours to cure. The floor will be ready for weekend use.

Next week, painting crews will return to put the finish coat of paint on the doors and door frames.

I am pleased with the results of the work. I would like to thank the contractors that partnered with us for this project. Picken’s Constructions performed and managed all restroom work, “kitchen” work, installation of doors, installation of new ceiling tile, and painting. Chad Brown Electric assisted with electrical work. Spaulding Epoxy is performing the beautiful work on the floor. Can’t believe it’s the same floor from the first picture to the last! It takes strong partnerships to provide successful results. Thank you all!
