Tip: When using your banking bill pay service, please be sure to allow time for the bank to mail your check to us. If we do not receive the bank check by the close of business on the last business day of the month, your account will be assessed late charges. It’s not the date on the check that matters, it’s the date of when we receive payment. The 1st of each month is the next billing date. Late charges are assessed on the 1st.
For example: Setting up your bill pay for the 30th of the month will result in your payment not being received by the due date. I recommend you set up your payment to be processed no later than the 20th to be safe.
Did you know you can set up ACH payments using our online payment platform? You can! You must receive your invoice via email to utilize this option. If you are not getting your Association or Choctaw Utilities (Water) invoices via email, please reach out so that we can set you up.
My goal is that we move everyone to email invoicing by end of 2022. I strongly believe the system we are now using for CLPOA and CUI is very user-friendly. This system also provides major efficiencies for the office team with invoicing and payment processing. It’s a win-win for all of us!
Thanks,
Mike Casimir
