Over Memorial Day weekend, boat patrol noted and spoke to many residents that did not have the proper CLPOA boat identification. You must have a 4-digit number (white sticker) and a yellow 23 number. Any other numbers mean you are not properly registered. If you have an orange 22 sticker, you are not compliant. This could be a resident that moved last year and is using your lake as a non-member.
I have directed boat patrol to escort any watercraft that does not have both the 4-digit number and/or the yellow 23 number off the lake. I understand our office hours were adjusted the week before Memorial Day due to unexpected circumstances. This is one of the reasons why watercraft stickers are available beginning April 1 every year; including this year.
Please stop by the office to pick up your stickers. If you have your current stickers, be sure to place them on the boat. Boat patrol reported furstration from people being stopped to check stickers. This is an easy fix. The boat patrol staff are just doing their job per your governing documents. We ask that everyone does their part to correct this issue.

Thank you,
Mike Casimir
