Hello – The Booster Club has lined up Katie’s Pancake to toss pancakes on Monday, September 4th at the Lodge. The pancake breakfast is always a great way for families and the community to get together and share some laughs. Below are the details.
When: Monday, September 4th from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Where: Lodge
What: All you can eat pancakes, sausage, OJ, coffee, and milk
Cost: $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under the age of 4.
Band: Allison Road
Time: 6:30 PM at Arrowhead
Food: Poppy’s Smoke House & Galactic Flats (5:00PM – 9:00 PM) — M&T’s Twisted Treats
Allison Road is a female-fronted band that plays a variety of favorite upbeat and current hits, as well as some classic rock, country, rock, and pop to keep a good variety of genres in the mix! This band is sure to keep your dancing shoes warm and your ears happy! Accolades include being voted best band in Springfield 2022 and 92.3 WCOL Runner Up/Semifinalist for the Route 4 Farm Tour. Alli Sarven, the lead singer, is a Springfield, OH native and now resides in Marysville, OH. Her smooth and sweet vocals will surely make you want more! Alli loves every aspect of music and dips her toe into many structures of a live show. Her genres include Country, Pop, Classic Rock, and Alternative. Also, be sure to check out her single “Where I Come From”, recorded with Nashville’s finest musicians who are currently on tour with Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and Big & Rich. 2 person teams, 2 divisions (Open or Mixed Doubles)
Double elimination format, blind draw for opponent pairings
Choctaw Lake resident with guest
$20 per person, 1st place prize for both divisions
Teams will self-referee matches, games played to 15 points
Coin flip to determine starting sides
Email entries to jimdar814@columbus.rr.com, include player names and email addresses. Indicate OPEN or MIXED DOUBLES
All player levels welcome.
The entry deadline is August 12th. Entry fees are due in cash day of the tournament.
The good times keep rolling in July at Choctaw Lake. After a great holiday week, this week there are two super fun events.
This Friday (the 14th), the Menus are back!!! You read that right, the concert is this Friday night. It looks like this time the show will be outside! Thanks again to Ernie’s Pharmacy for sponsoring all the great shows, and great job by Dan Blazer to schedule top-notch bands for the community.
Then on Sunday (the 16th), The Booster Club is hosting a Car Show at the Lodge. The show will begin at 10:00 AM and last until 4:00 PM. There will be live music, door prizes, and a 50/50 drawing.
