With the nice weather, more and more projects are in progress. Please read the verbiage for contractor signs. Contractor signs are to be removed no more than 3 days after a project. We also do not want signs remaining if there is an extended time of no progress. For example, if your project is halted due to a 4-week backlog of roofing material or concrete, the sign should be removed during this delay. The sign can be reinstalled once the work begins. This would be covered in C (1). An extended period of no progress is not considered “during periods of construction”. Work must be active.
C. Contractors’ Signs: (1) During periods of construction, remodeling, or demolition, a sign may be erected on the lot where the dwelling is located listing the name, address, phone number, and trade of the contractor or subcontractor involved. (2) Only one sign will be permitted per lot where the work is being performed. (3) Sign shall not be erected prior to the start of the work and shall be removed within three (3) business days following the completion of the work. (Revised August 14, 2018).
