COVID-19 Guidelines: What does this mean for boating and common grounds use?

April 29, 2020

As the weather begins to warm up, we are all anxious to be outdoors. During the recent guidelines, it’s always been encouraged to be outdoors. The great thing about the Choctaw community is that you have access to great parks and a lake to fish and boat.

Please be sure you are exercising social distancing while enjoying all the amenties the community has to offer.

In communications with the Madison County Health Department, they emphasized to me how important it is that we continue to do our part so that we can return to some normalcy sooner rather than later.

The biggest thing we can do is to maintain the 6′ social distancing guidelines. This includes boats tying up. Please avoid tying boats together and forming large groups.

I was proud to report to the Health Department that I have witnessed residents doing their part, residents respecting our business plans, and our staff working safely. Please continue to be safe.

We appreciate everyone’s help and patience as we work through these unfamiliar times. In the meantime, I will continue to communicate updates about guidelines, business operations, and upcoming events via Choctaw Weekly.

Be sure to tell your neighbors about Choctaw Weekly!! I’d like all property owners to sign up to receive our emails. I want to share info!

Thank you,

Mike
