Our contractor has completed the rip rap installation at the dam. The crew installed 360 tons of type D rip rap across the entire length of the dam. (560 feet). The objective of this project was to cover the sparse areas on the top portion of the dam. This was an action item from our 2022 ODNR inspection. ODNR stated that the rock on the bottom half of the embankment and below the water level was sufficient. They inspected the dam in November of 2022 when the water level was down. They were able to inspect below normal water level.
