Hello,
To monitor progress and to calculate the amount of sediment removed, the dredging team is utilizing GPS technology. Below are maps that are generated in real time from the equipment being used during dredging operations. The first map illustrates lake depth prior to dredging operations. The second map illustrates progress as the morning of August 25th. As of 7:00AM on the 25th, 5,322 cubic yards of sediment has been removed from the lake!
(You may need to zoom in to see numbers. Please note the color legend on the bottom left of the maps)

I will continue to share these maps as operations progress.
Area 1 is projected to be completed on Wednesday, August 30th. Once completed, all equipment and wires will be stored against the bank along Old Columbus. This will allow for more boating area over the Labor Day weekend. Equipment will be set back up in Area 2 on Tuesday September 5th.
Thank you,
Mike
