Crews have begun building the sediment basin for the George’s Fork dredging that is scheduled for Spring of 2024. Below are a few pictures. The map of the dredging area is included below.
Dredging of the west end of George’s Fork is scheduled for the Spring of 2024. We are expecting to start the actually dredging in March of 2024. If we can hold to that timeline, the project will be completed before the boating, and swim cove floating season!! This will assist in hitting our March start goal in 2024.
Those in the dredging area will need to remove their removable docks and lifts from the lake. We will send additional communication to those in the project zone. If you have floating docks or jet ski ports, I recommend you remove those while the water is up.
