During the week of September 11th through the 15th, I will be performing “eyesore” inspections throughout the entire community. If there is an item that I deem as an eyesore, a letter will be sent to your address on file. The letter will include notes and pictures. Should you receive a letter, I will be available to meet to review in person. The goal of this is to work together to maintain our beautiful community per expectations of the CLPOA rules and regulations.
Items of focus:
Grass and weed height. Per pg 48 Item 35G in Rules & Regulations, grass and weeds on all lots are not to exceed 8 inches.
“Eyesores”: Per pg 47 Item 33 in Rules and Regulations, “property owners shall not permit any item to remain on any lot(s) under his or her control, which is so unsightly, deteriorated, or rusted, as to constitute, in the opinion of the Lake Manager, an eyesore. No trash, debris, unused property or discarded material shall be permitted to accumulated on any lot or portion thereof which creates an eyesore, hazard or nuisance to the neighborhood or general public. “
Parking: Please refer to item D. All motor and miscellaneous vehicles are to be parked in a driveway or inside the garage. Per pg 39 Item D(3).
I appreciate everyone’s help with being compliant to this. If possible, please address any items you may currently have by the 11th of September. Hopefully, I send zero letters!
I do understand this is a two way street. My team and I will continue to work towards cleaning up eyesores that I have. Recently, we have been working hard to cleanup our shop area and rental storage off Old Columbus. We have been mowing down weeds and cutting out volunteer trees from the fence line. We still have more to do. We will continue to weed our community beds as well. In addition, over the next month we will reduce safety hazards by cutting back the overgrowth of brush from guard rails along our community roads. This fall, we will begin cleaning up the base of our trees in the park areas. We have a lot of volunteer growth to remove.
We are in this together. I am willing to work with anyone that has an item that I note. We just need to agree on a reasonable action plan to correct; then execute.
