Choctaw Lake is a great place to live!
We’ve got a great lake to fish, boat, and swim in, of course, but our community is much more than just “the lake.” It’s the people who live here that make our neighborhood great.
We are served by a volunteer Board of Trustees, Choctaw Utilities is run by a volunteer board, and it is other volunteers – your neighbors – that keep the lake clean, maintain our signs, and perform other tasks that make our community a fantastic place to live, raise a family, and vacation.

Board of Trustees Committees
Board of Trustees Committees are comprised primarily of members of the Choctaw Lake Board of Trustees although they are open to, and frequently have as, their members other lake residents.

Lake Committees
Choctaw Lake Committees serve under the Board of Trustees. Our Board of Trustees are volunteer and can’t possibly have all the time, energy, and resources to “get it all done.” So they’ve created committees. All lake committees have board members as their committee chair; but are otherwise opened to – and petition the help and support from – lake residents.
Choctaw Lake Clubs
Choctaw Lake Clubs are recreational. They meet on their own schedule, often for the purpose of pursuing hobbies. Clubs have been recognized by the Choctaw Lake Board of Trustees, not as an approval, but to be listed in official Choctaw Lake Communications.
