Lake Level Update 11/30/22

November 30, 2022

On 11/28/22 we set the baffles to approximately the current lake level. Based on the size of the baffles, the lake level should actually increase by about 4 inches. This means that the water level will not lower due to the valve remaining open.

The valve is still open and will remain open until at least March 1, 2023. Should we get a couple of rain events in December that causes the lake to rise above the level of the baffles, the lake has the opportunity to drain back down to the baffle level. This is 100% based on Mother Nature. If the lake level increases and we continue to get rain, the level may not drop back down to the current level. Based on that, now is the time to take advantage of your shoreline being 100% exposed. I can not predict or control how long the level will stay at winter pool.
