Lake Water Level

November 20, 2019

The lake level has reached winter pool! This is the first time in at least the past 2 years that this has happened. This is a great time to perform maintenance to your shoreline or docks.

A heavy rain could fill the lake right back up, so don’t wait too long to work.

Feel free to contact me if you want to review your plans. You do not need a permit for installing rip rap, pulling up rip rap from the lake bottom, digging out your boat slip, or repairing dock deck boards. If digging out your boat slip, please do not throw the silt/mud back into the lake. It will probably just end up back in your dock or your neighbors.

You do need a permit if building a boathouse or installing a new sea wall.

Thanks – Take advantage of lake level as soon as you can.

Mike
