Lake Water Testing Results

June 19, 2019

We have received our first test results back for Microcystin in our lake water.

Results came back very positive. Lab results state our level is <0.300 ppb.

As a point of reference, 6ppb is the lowest level of advisory. 20 ppb is the level of advisory for no contact for adults. Last year, the highest reading at our lake was 2.35 ppb. .3 is the lowest reading since August of 2016.

Aside from great lab results, this result confirms the weekly observations that the testing committee has been doing. Weekly observations have been indicating very low activity of the Microcystin toxin.

We have just submitted two more samples to the lab. We should have those results back by the first of July. We will publish the information once received.
