Phase 1 is done! We intended to wait until the weekend, but the weather forecast wasn’t cooperating, so we took advantage of this beautiful day!
Dean Miller, Angi Watson, Brenda O’Connor, and Brian Stewart pulled down the last of the rotted letters today, scraped and sanded down the old surface, and applied a fresh coat of paint.

The letters and logos are also finished – thank you Dean, so now it’s just a matter of getting another good day to hang them. The
solar powered light system appears to be kaput, so we’re going to see how much it would cost to do some staked solar powered accent lights instead, and just remove the old panels from the top for a cleaner look. Once we’re finished the landscaping around the sign will be refreshed as well by Oasis Landscaping – Ross McQuirt – completely donated – how about that!
By the way everything including the labor was donated to the Fundraising & Volunteers Committee for this project! Special thanks to Krista Marie at Sherman Williams in London for the paint she supplied for the lettering! A gallon of the best outdoor stuff they sell, and some supplies too! Property owner donations paid for the boards for the new lettering, and the treated plywood for the logos! Homeowners made this happen, and we didn’t spend a penny of your dues! We are just getting started! Come join the Volunteers List! Contact Sheena Little Helm to get your named added! We have lots of good stuff coming!
