Road Safety

November 17, 2017

Hi,

I know this is repetitive, but safety is an everyday item.  As we all know, the smooth roads make it easier for your car to glide down the road.  Knowing that, please make extra effort to look down at your speedometer.  Our patrol staff will pull you over if you are speeding.  I know that may be frustrating to some, but they have to do their job.  Patrol has reported that observations during stationary radar are showing that the majority of cars are obeying the speed limit.  However, they are still clocking some cars going 30 up to 45 mph.

If you have a project going on at your home, please reminder you vendors of the community speed limit.

Walkers: Please be careful on the roads.  Our days are shorter now.  Please be sure to wear reflective clothing.  I see some walking carrying flashlights.  Great idea!  I would recommend anyone walking during the dark to carry a flashlight.  The light easily catches the attention of drivers.

Have a good weekend – Be safe,

Mike
