Thanksgiving Food Drive
As many of you remember, Cub Scout Pack 102 has organized an annual food drive to benefit the Help House and its Thanksgiving outreach program. This year, this same group of boys will be organizing the food drive again, this time, under Pack and Troop 90.
Over the last five years, scouts from Pack and Troop 102 (now 90) have collected more than 10,000 pounds of food. This annual food drive benefits hundreds of families each year over the Thanksgiving holiday.
We are once again asking for donations to this year’s food drive. On the morning of Sunday, November 12th, please place your donations, and a print out of this flyer in a visible location on your porch or driveway by 10:00 a.m. so we can see them from the street. Scout families will drive around to pick up the donations.
Suggested donation items:
- Canned corn or green beans
- Other canned vegetables
- Canned fruit
- Stuffing mix (boxes)
- Gravy packets or cans (no glass please!)
- Instant potatoes
- Canned yams or sweet potatoes
- Dessert mixes
- Pie crusts and canned filling
Thank you in advance for your generosity in this food drive.
