This Sunday is the tree lighting event. The lighting will take place at 6:00PM. Please arrive early(5:45PM) so that you and your family can enjoy the moment the tree lights are turned on.
Special thank you for all those involved in planning. I apologize if I missed your name. Thank you to Brenda O’Conner, Becky and Sener Calis, and Sue and Dean Miller for volunteering time to put up lights on the fence rail and the patrol office.
Nice work by Tim Good, Mike Whistler, Al Hedrick, and Pete Weber for installing the displays. Not an easy task, but a fun task!
Thank you to Tim and Chad of Chad Brown Electric for using the bucket truck to install the lights on the “Christmas Tree”. I am just a bit too short to reach the top! 🙂
I also want to thank the Garden Club in advance for providing the hot chocolate and snacks for the event. Hats off to Dan Blazer for scheduling the big man, Mr. Claus. Thanks to Todd Eades and the City of London Fire Department for providing Mr. Claus with an Uber ride to the event. Santa will be arriving in style on a Fire Truck.
Like all great things that happen in our community, it’s not through one single person. We are better working together. As a team, we can do a lot of neat things.
(FYI- there will be lights installed at the east entrance.)
