We ❤️ Maintenance

When you have a group that is passionate about constant improvement….. then cold weather is no match for knocking out maintenance items. On Wednesday, the team got moving on a few more projects.

Crews finished the Marina apron project by installing 25 ton of material around the new pad. (Before and after side view.)

We began our shoreline restorations. Pictured is work that has begun at the Jetty by the beach. A backhoe is pulling up rock from the lake bottom. Soil is being added to restore eroded land and to level out uneven areas. Areas will be smoothed out and seeded in the spring.

In order to have a nice beach in the summer, you must perform maintenance to it in the winter. A tractor rake is being used to pull up sand that washed down into the lake during the season.

Not pictured, 150 more tulip bulbs were planted in the triangle bed at the West Entrance. It’s amazing what can be done by 4 guys in 8 hours when their is passion for continued improvement.
